Swine & Brine returns on Saturday, April 7! This annual beer and food festival focusing on oysters, pork, and sides is always a great time, but we can't do it without you!
If you're interested in volunteering to help out at this year's Swine & Brine, you can sign up here. We've got a variety of jobs available at different times of day, including setup, cleanup, taking orders and pouring beers. Volunteers will receive complimentary tickets to use before or after their shift, free pizza, an exclusive volunteer t-shirt, and our heartfelt appreciation.
We're releasing two new beers this Thursday: IPA #34 and a fresh Hazy IPA!
IPA Batch #34 is a slight departure from our typical rotational IPA series. We sweetened the recipe with lactose and added hops in primary fermentation to haze it up. IPA Batch #34 prominently features Michigan Copper hops, giving this beer a citrus and tangerine flavor with tropical pineapple aromas.
6.8% ABV | 22 IBU
Crowler/growler fills to go
This batch of Hazy IPA was double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops, giving it a big floral aroma and citrusy tropical fruit flavor. Soft mouthfeel and low bitterness are both hallmarks of this cloudy, smooth-drinking IPA style.
7.8% ABV | 8 IBU
4-packs of 12 oz. bottles to go
Come try one of each to wash down some tasty food from 2nd Alarm Grill and have yourself a delicious Thursday! Cheers!
Food, Beer & Metal
Our pal Dave Witte caught up with Decibel Magazine last week to chat about his life, which includes playing drums for Municipal Waste and a bunch of other metal bands, running the Go Go Vegan Go food truck, and helping out right here at Ardent. Check it out!
Spring American Sour Blend is an effervescent, light-bodied wheat ale that pours a deep golden color. Pleasantly tart, this accessible sour was barrel-fermented with a house culture, then aged in a mix of chardonnay, port, and bourbon barrels for 12 months. This blend highlights raspberry and apricot aromas with notes of oak and vanilla.
Spring American Sour Blend will be available on draft and in 330 mL bottles. No crowler/growler fills.
Gaucho will be cooking in the beer garden all evening. We can't wait to see you!
Ardent Berliner Weisse + King of Pops raspberry lime syrup = ⠀
Okay, so we're no math experts, but we're pretty sure that checks out. Add a pump of syrup to your glass of Berliner Weisse in the taproom and live it up this weekend!
