Welcome to Ardent!

Ardent Craft Ales is a brewery, taproom, and beer garden in the Scott's Addition neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia.

We began as a co-op in a Richmond garage, a space where we sought to create innovative beers and introduce others to historic brewing methods and beer styles. As a production brewery, our mission remains the same: to produce and celebrate exceptional and ambitious beers with the ever-growing craft beer community.

FAQs

Service

Our taproom & beer garden are open seven days a week! Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. We offer two ways to order: via QR code from your table, or from a server at the bar.

Drinks

Ardent beer is available on draft and in cans. We also serve cider, wine, and a variety of non-alcoholic options. Our menu is always evolving and updated regularly.

Food

We serve a limited menu from our taproom kitchen. Outside food is also permitted. (Eazzy Burger & ZZQ are right next door!)

Kids

Children are welcome. Snacks and juice boxes are available for purchase.

Pets

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors in the beer garden, but we cannot allow pets inside the taproom. We have water bowls and dog treats available upon request. A covered area with heat lamps is available in the beer garden between the Ardent taproom & Eazzy Burger.

Smoking

No smoking in the beer garden. An ash tray receptacle is available near the parking lot entrance to the beer garden. Public consumption of cannabis remains illegal in Virginia, and as such, marijuana is not permitted anywhere on Ardent premises.

Parking

We have a private parking lot available to guests behind the brewery, accessible via Highpoint Ave. We lock the gate when the taproom closes, so if you need to leave your car for longer, stick to the free street parking all over the neighborhood.

Transit

Take advantage of the GRTC Pulse bus rapid transit, bike or scooter rentals, or ride share services.

Bicycles

Bike racks are available at both entrances to the beer garden.
