Earl Grey Brown Ale is back! This annual tradition is a collaboration beer between Ardent Craft Ales and Potter's Craft Cider. For this 6th annual release, we're throwing an all-day party and featuring four different Potter’s ciders on tap in Ardent's taproom!

Altamont DIPA was double dry hopped with Cashmere and Mosaic hops, featuring notes of coconut and melon flavors and bursting with tropical fruit aroma. This big, juicy DIPA is a soft, hazy treat!

Amarillo Pale Ale is a classic American pale ale, generously dry hopped with Amarillo hops for big floral notes in both aroma and flavor. Brewed with an English yeast strain, along with oats and wheat in the mash bill, Amarillo Pale Ale features a soft body and mild bitterness.

’Tis the season… for holiday beer!

Winter Warmer, brewed as a special pilot batch with mulling spices, was conceived as a collaboration with the Valentine and brewed specially for Court End Christmas.

Our newest Winter American Sour Ale is a mixed-culture saison aged for 9 months in a variety of red and white wine barrels. This year's blend is a complex beer with restrained acidity, showcasing wine barrel character in a funky, farmhouse saison.

This Black Friday, we’re opening early for a celebration of stouts, featuring six different dark beers on draft, including a first-time release and some old favorites we’ve hung on to for a special occasion!

Dark Rye is an American imperial stout, deep black with a long-lasting tan head. A rye spiciness balanced by roasted notes comes forward in both aroma and flavor. Dark Rye is full-bodied with a dry chocolaty finish.

This beer was brewed in the traditional Munich style with all German malt and hops, then lagered for more than a month, resulting in a full bodied, pale lager that pours a golden straw color with a full head. Our Helles Lager features a mild malt sweetness, balanced hop presence and clean finish. #neverstoplagering

Brainstorm is a St. Louis/Richmond collaboration, brewed with our friends Narrow Gauge right here at Ardent! Brainstorm is a big, juicy DIPA, double dry hopped with Amarillo & Galaxy and bursting with flavors of orange and pineapple. Soft and aromatic, smooth and flavorful, Brainstorm is a testament to teamwork.

Fall is approaching, which means it’s time for our annual Sweet Potato and Sage Saison release!

Our Festbier is a traditional German lager with a malty backbone and light hoppiness. This full-bodied, amber-colored beer features a bready aroma and slight malty sweetness in the classic Marzen style, served in 1/2 liter mugs. Prost!

This Labor Day, we’re releasing our most fruited gose ever!

Barrel aged Honey Ginger is back!

This batch was aged in bourbon barrels for more than a year, layering bourbon and vanilla notes on top of honey sweetness and ginger spice.

Hefeweizen is a German-style, unfiltered wheat beer that features distinctive pear, banana, and vanilla flavors.

Bohemian Pilsner is a traditional Czech pilsner, brewed with a simple recipe of Czech floor malt, Saaz hops, and a Czech lager yeast. Bo Pils pours a clear golden color with soft mouthfeel, spicy hop notes, and clean finish. #neverstoplagering

Berliner Weisse is tart and refreshing, pale straw colored, cloudy and effervescent. Light body and high carbonation complement the clean sour flavor with notes of lemon and citrus, and the low alcohol content allows a hint of the malt profile to shine through.

Join us this Thursday for the release of Grist Case Headrest, a collaboration between Ardent and Casita Cerveceria out of North Carolina!

This 7% ABV IPA was generously hopped with Idaho-7, Loral, and Galaxy to give it a bright, juicy, and fruity flavor. Grist Case Head-Rest pours a hazy golden color and features minimal bitterness and a silky soft mouthfeel.

On International Women’s Day, we hosted some amazing women from all across Virginia to brew Pithy in Pink in collaboration with Stone Brewing and Pink Boots Society, which helps to assist, inspire, and encourage women beer professionals through education.

🍍Pineapple Guava Gose is a tart, effervescent wheat beer featuring salt and coriander with a blend of pineapple and pink guava puree for a pink hue and juicy, tropical fruit flavor that complements the natural acidity in the gose style. 🍍

This ruby brown doppelbock has a malty aroma and mild fruity notes. Defenestrator’s clean, full-bodied mouthfeel complements the nutty flavor with malty, bready sweetness that finishes crisp for an easy-drinking, mellow doppelbock.

Kōyō is a Japanese-style rice lager brewed in collaboration with Elation Brewing Company from Norfolk. This is a delicate, pale-yellow lager with a crisp, clean body and balanced hop character from the addition of Zuper Saazer hops. Kōyō is a dry, light lager with minimal bitterness and subtle rice flavor.
