We're releasing two beers this Thursday: Defenestrator & Pink Boots IPA!
* Defenestrator is an annual collaboration brewed with our friends from The Cask Cafe. This ruby brown doppelbock has a malty aroma and mild fruity notes. Defenestrator’s clean, full-bodied mouthfeel complements the nutty flavor with malty, bready sweetness that finishes crisp for an easy-drinking, mellow doppelbock. #neverstoplagering
8.7% ABV | 22 IBU
* Pink Boots IPA Erin crafted this beer with the Pink Boots Blend from YCH Hops to benefit the Pink Boots Society, which aims to assist, inspire, and encourage women beer professionals through education. Brewed with a blend of Palisade, Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra and Loral hops, Pink Boots is a sessionable, hazy IPA with fruity citrus aroma and flavor. Low bitterness and alcohol content complement the soft mouthfeel for an easy-drinking New England-style IPA.
4.6% ABV | 6 IBU
Both beers will be available on draft and in crowler/growler fills to go.
Swine & Brine returns on Saturday, April 7! This annual beer and food festival focusing on oysters, pork, and sides is always a great time, but we can't do it without you!
If you're interested in volunteering to help out at this year's Swine & Brine, you can sign up here. We're still looking for afternoon volunteers starting at 2:45 p.m. to help with taking orders, pouring beers and cleanup. Volunteers will receive complimentary tickets to use before or after their shift, free pizza, an exclusive volunteer t-shirt, and our heartfelt appreciation.
Each ticket includes a 6 course dinner + brew pairing with two passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktail pairing. Dinner courses will be paired with a brewers selection of Ardent Craft Ales finished with a dessert course and dessert cocktail.
Reader's Choice voting
Have you voted yet in the Style Weekly Reader's Choice awards? We're not biased or anything, but we can think of some pretty great options for Best Local Brewery, Best Local Brewer, Best Local Seasonal Beer, and Best Taproom.
